Kellie M. Martin is an American TV and film actress. She is most famous for her role as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Other notable roles include her title character in The Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin's acting journey began at age 7 when an aunt, the former nanny who took care on the kids of Michael Landon, helped secure an appearance as a character in the 1982 film 'Father Murphy.' After she graduated from Yale University in 1982, Martin decided to pursue her acting career more seriously. She landed significant roles on TV as well as on the big screen. Martin as well as being an actor, is also an accomplished photographer and dancer. Two daughters are hers Martin is the Lupus spokesperson and spreads awareness of the illness daily since the loss of her sister when she was the age of 19.
